...when you start seeing remakes of movies you saw in the theatres as a kid? (i.e. The Bad News Bears)

probably so. i would think that some of the stuff when i was a kidd in the early 90's and late 80's would be on the list for remakes soon. maybe in the next 10 years.

Actually it goes to show the Hollywood and TV are having trouble coming up with original ideas. Of course even back then a lot of their movies and programs weren't original.

Why mess up great shows with remakes? So far, very few have been as good as the originals. And I agree that "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory looks plum weird!!

You have to be old if you can remember gas only costing us 33 cents when I first started driving. And as a child I remember it being as low as 19 cents a gallon when they has gasoline wars.

:weeping: :weeping: I remember the gas wars. Driving through Oklahoma to visit my grandfather in Arkansas, it was as low as 15 cents.

Another movie is "The Longest Yard"!! It's came out a while ago and the made a 2005 version of it!
