It costs a freakin fortune to have them taken out at the vet too!
Anywhere between $500 and $1000!

I wonder what the porcupine looks like. Maybe like a living pinless pin cushion.

I had a Shar Pei and that dog was very aggressive. We live on a farm so he was always getting into it with wild animals. On 2 occassions he was quilled like the dog in the picture. The difference was that my dog had it no where near that bad. Not even 1/4th of that. We did take him to the vet to get them out but it wasn't that much. I think it was like 100 bucks or less, but like I said it was no where near that bad. My dog got the quills in his mouth and around his head but still not near that many. I can also remember that there were a lot of very little quills that the vet didn't remove and they just festered up until they went away. Seems like thsi dog has a lot of really long ones. Maybe several different species of Porcupine.
QUESTION for Vet: How many cases like this have you handled?

I believe it is real. Doesn't the legs in the first pic look like a nurse's. The last pic looks like an examining room in the background.

Be careful of letting your friends post under your name. You can't control what they say & you will be responsible for anything said, since "sicem74" is what name is posting.
