Geez, This is one heckuva year for tropical weather.. I wonder if we'll get through the entire alphabet and have to begin using the Greek alphabet for names?? Hurricane Alpha, eek!

I hope so! I live on the coast.. I wouldn't mind a small Tropical Storm coming here, as we still need the rain.. but at least the drought has eased up...somewhat.....at least in Bridge City.... We've had about 6" of rain in the past week..

here's where the computer models are showing it going.. the blue line behind this coming in from off the map is what could become TD 6

Whew.. We may break the 1995 season in terms of named storms, unless the second half of the season calms down.. wowee....

uh...yah a small tropical storm like allison was a couple years back?...even w/ the drought if a small tropical storm parked over southeast texas like allison did it would flood out everywhere again...it's still early in hurricane season too, u might get your tropical storm now and then a hurricane a week or 2 later...i'd rather have a drought that will most likely end w/ only the grass dead than have a tropical storm come through and kill people, flood land, and destroy houses....a tropical depression would be ok, but i'd rather not have to deal w/ any tropical systems...rain will come eventually we have droughts almost every summer....tropical stuff we dotn get every summer and im thankful for that...
