Jasper's #17

My memory (and the state program - listed as QB/LB) says that Fred Stoneham was #17 for Jasper last season during the playoffs. I believe he was the JV QB. I specifically remeber him getting a series at QB pretty early in the game against Liberty. I think he just ran the ball as QB, but I think he also caught some balls in that game. I thought I remembered him getting some action at LB sometime throughout the playoffs as well. So unless I am crazy, there was a #17 for Jasper!

He was, he got moved up in the last 2 games of the regular season and for the playoffs. BUT....he was no HUGE line backer that ol' boy said he was. He played slot reciever.

And he did play two seriese at QB against liberty, if memory serves me correctly....he scored a touchdown.

But he never played LB on varsity as was said.
