Any idea who may pick up all the players and will they be eligable this year or play jv ?

dallas is debating on whether to pick them up or not. Hutchins said that they would play football as always though in 3a as Wilmer Hutchins.

Lancaster already said no they would not take hutchins kids.

Carter could be a possiblity ,however they are usually loaded with talent.

the way i look at it is.....they will stay as wilmer hutchins high school for one more year and them the district will become officially a part of the dallas isd after this next school year. The only way dallas is going to do this though is if the state funds every bit of it this next year

There is that possibility. You never know with the UIL - I read earlier that they would not waiver the rule for them, which isn't right as far as I'm concerned.
