got to go with my dawgs. cameron has a tradition of winning and with the home field advantage and the crowd, it is always tough. anyone at the last cameron vs. marlin game knows the rivalry of these two teams. in 2002, the district championship literally came down to the last play of the game. the cameron coach wanted the win and went for two. the running back was about to step in the end zone when tank smith then a sophomore came from nowhere and both players were on the ground as the game ended. marlin won 17-16. the previous meeting was in the quarterfinals in 2000 at sam houston final score marlin 27 cameron 26. so yes, this game is always intense. that being said I believe the dawgs will take the yoe in a matchup, hopefully in the 2005 playoffs!

final score jasper 32 marlin 14. if we are going by past games, the last time cameron played marlin the score was marlin 70 cameron 6- actually the only team in the district to score against marlin that year. so if we use your logic cameron played jasper close, but would not have stood a chance against marlin?

a youngster give him a break. a game can go anyway depending on too many factors, unless the team is totally outclassed e.g decatur vs. west!
