Hitting Pitchers

I know Mike Hampton has the better numbers vs Brandon Backe, but if you take last season and this season and compare what you know about each as a hitter who would you take?

I vote for Hampton. I haven't kept up with his hitting stats since he left Houston, but when he was with the Astros, he was one of the best pitcher hitters I can remember--one year he was hitting over .300 most of the year.

What is Backe's average? Around .280?
