2012 Olympics: No baseball or softball!

Heard this morning on NBC "Today" that the IOC is dropping baseball and softball for 2012. HMMMM....two sports where we usually win medals. Think maybe they're trying to keep our medal count down?:mad:

Of course Maroon. It also really hurts Cuba because generally they get the gold in baseball. Japan is upset with the softball decision because even though US has won the gold they usually get a silver or bronz medal.

baseball is gonna have a world cup now atleast....hopefully the united states' best players will really play in that tournament and we can win it..

At least baseball has the world series but it is a shame about the softball ladies because that is one of the few things that they can look forward to every year and right when CAT and Jeanie Finch would be in their prime. :(

Don't know where to actually watch her, Tiger, but just to look at her, I use my old swimsuit issue of sports illustrated.


By the way, that does suck that softball (and baseball) no longer included in olympics. A lot of people in US worked really hard to get them in originally.
