This one will decide the district champ. What are your thoughts on this. I think that Commerce will win, but NL could make it very interesting with a tough defense and an offense that is peaking at the right time. What do you guys think?? Final Commerce 28 NL 21. *optimistic*

No contest, Commerce makes it as ugly as they wish.

Ouch. I'm going to be optimistic and say our defense will keep them from running rampant. Not sure what we'll be able to do offensively though. For what it's worth, I think we'll be their biggest challenge in district (and that's not saying much).

Commerce by 31....this could be the first of 2 blowouts in a row for N Lamar...any idea where they'll be playing Gainesville at?? Sherman seems like a logical choice...

Sorry Russ, I'm going to have to go with everybody else here...North Lamar has a really good defense but Commerce has too many weapons on offense. Not to mention, their defense is really starting to peak...

Russ, game will be in Commerce. In years past when NL and Commerce played it was always a good hard, fought game. Sure it`ll be same this year. Luck to ya`ll.

Well I think I will pick Commerce. Tigers seem to be hitting on all 11 cylinders and this is a good time of the year for that to happen. North Lamar cant be taken lightly. It should be a good game. I dont do real well with point spreads so Ill just say I think Tigers will win.

I'm pissed. I have to work, and the soonest I can possibly get there will be for the 2nd half. I know the game is in Commerce, I meant the playoff game. Last I remember, we quit playing Commerce because they were handing us our ass to the tune of 60-0 every year that we played them. I think the last time my team played them close was when I was in junior high. So should I drive over for the 2nd half, or just anxiously wonder what's going on?

Gotta go with Commerce.

Russ, if you can't make the game, you can listen to it on 88.9 FM.

The game will be broadcast on KETR 88.9FM. I worked at the Paris Post Office for a couple of years and I could pick that channel up there.

I think the Tigers win this one by at least 10 points. I certainly do not want Commerce to be in a bad mood in round one comming off of a loss :D

We beat them in the district opener. NL 28 Bonham 13. We held their offense to about 100 yds less than its season average. That's about all I know. I talked to one of the Commerce players about their game with Bonham, and he said they (Commerce) played terrible. I'm sure Commerce is better than us, I just don't think that their offense will run and pass at will. I could be wrong, but I just don't see it happening.
