I know some of you guys were talking about Morgan Ensberg being snubbed from the all star game and I agree, but there are a few more that were more then worthy.. Who of the people who didnt make it do you think deserves it the most??

I think Ensberg should have been there, but there is nothing to be done about that now. So I am now campaigning for Roy Oswalt. Everyone vote for Roy in the late voting for the All-Star game. He just completed his THIRD complete game of the year bringing his ERA down to 2.44. He struck out 6 and only walked two. This win was his fifth straight start and has won eight straight at home now. He's a big time player and has never made an appearance at the All-Star game.

Ensberg should have been starter before Rolen no offense to Rolen but when your batting .289 22 Hrs and 59 Rbis you should start before a guy batting .250 5 Hrs and 22 RBIs

Amen. Rolen's been injured too much to deserve an All-Star spot, but I think Burrell got snubbed more than anyone. He's fourth in the NL with 63 RBI... and from the five spot in the order... his batting averaged has hovered around .300 all year, he has 17 homers and he's getting on base about 40% of the time. The thing that killed Burrell's run is that he's a streaky hitter who's on a down cycle right now. His average is down to .289 and he's only had a couple of dingers since he went on that tear about three or four weeks ago.

Morgan Ensberg he is have an amazing year and they give it to scott rolen in my opinion all the all star game is a popularity contest. I wish they would take out the fans vote and make it strictly coaches and players who vote. Because every year there are plenty of players who are more than deserving but dont make it.

I agree that Ensberg was a snub, but I thought taking Lidge over Oswalt was a bigger snub. No offense to Lidge, but Oswalt's numbers far outweigh Lidge's so far this year.

I chose Ensberg but i do agree that he was faced with some stiff competition but as long as he can continue his pace, he will be looked more intently next year.

i can't believe carlos beltran made it. all star voting should be based on the how they players are doing this year and not how they've done in the past. i cant see how somehow batting .260 with 9 hr and maybe 45 rbis gets ahead of cliff floyd who is obviously doing way better. if beltran gets in with those numbers then berkman should be in too
