Burnet vs Liberty Hill 05

The Burnet - Liberty Hill game is always a exciting game for both schools, over the years becoming real Highway 29 shoot out. A friendly rivalry has developed between the Dogs and the Panthers with many fans from both towns supporting the other during each teams quest for the state title. This is sure to be another exciting match up when the Panthers make the trip back to Bulldog Field this fall. Any predictions for the 2005 matchup?

Like i said on TPX I give it to Burnet because they have more players returning from a 4a playoff team(very small 4a). LH is only returning 3 offensive and 6 defensive. I see LH's defence holding them in this game.

Hmmm...who to pick? :thinking: This will definitely be a great game, but I believe LH finally has Burnet's number & will win in a close battle. In fact, the 2-pt conversion with seconds to go, that failed last year, will be successful this year. 29-28, LH. :D

Well, shoot! I have to take it when I can get it. ;) We only have 3 weeks of the year to talk to more than one or two folks. Okay, 4...there is the week all the Wimberley folks come out of the woodwork.

I haven't been on line much lately, so I'm a little late in responding.

It will be a battle, but LH will pull out the victory this year. I'm not as good as LH Panther Mom so I won't try a specific prediction! All we want is a "W."

I'm afraid the Panthers are going to come up a little short once again. It should be another close game, but I'm picking the Dawgs by 7! I can't wait!:)

I expect LH to maybe win after the 2010 re-alignment or when they become 5A.
