i know that he did really good last year towards the end of the season, he is projected to be a standout QB this year, not a heisman candidate but a standout qb none the less

Drew was MVP of the Capital One Bowl and All-Big 10 selection at QB. He will be a junior this year.

You are referring to Kirby Freeman..it was reported a few weeks ago that their other QB candidate will get the starting nod and Kirby will serve as the #2 guy as a redshirt freshman this year.

Drew is from Baytown Lee. He started all 4 years under coach Olin, who happens to be his Dad (step-dad?).

No, he is from Baytown Lee, home of teh Ganders, where he set all sorts of rediculous records at the school and in class 5A i believe.
