She has already played four years on their basketball team and she was great but under the NCAA rules athletics are allowed five years to compete in college with a maximum of 4 years in one sport. Since she graduates in December she is eligible for the volleyball team this fall! Great news indeed for a school that is returning most of their players from a great year last year and was stopped in the playoffs only by the eventual national champion Stanford. She was a great volleyball player at 1A Windthorst High School and was on four straight volleyball championships and was MVP four straight years! She was highly recruited in college for volleyball including UT but she chose basketball. Now she will be on our volleyball team. Good news for UT and Volleyball indeed!!
