My first "brand new car" was a Mazda RX-7.....I loved it.

I got it for a wedding present from my (now EX) father-in-law....

but alas, just 9 months and one week after the wedding, I had a baby.....so out with the Mazda and in with mini-van!!:(

I got a '91 GMC Sierra 1500 Stepside....
129,000 miles isn't bad for a '91
But the bad thing is gas is expensive and my truck drinks a lot of it(stupid big engine)!

Hey bullfrog, what's Brian saying in your avatar? I've always wondered if there were words that went with the original clip.

With gas prices being so expensive it cost me $75 to fill up the other day and a tank of gas lasts me about 9 to 10 days. I cant wait to get a new truck i wont be broke all the time.

Your parents are probably like me and want to save $$$ on insurance.

My son has a 1996 Ford PU that we paid cash for so we could just do liability insurance on it. He is constantly wanting something better, but oh well.....;)

The only reason y i need a new one is because im gonna be moving to dallas next year and i just need something that gets better gas mileage and is a little more reliable. Not that my truck right now is not reliable its never left me stranded and it runs great.

a certain car doesn't build character. being proud and taken care of what you have builds character.

You've got to be the only student at Baylor University who doesn't drive a BMW.
