DE - Kendall Abron 6'4 230 4.6 - played O-Tackle last year and held 1st team DE from Snyder to 0 sacks and 2 tackles (assisted).

NG- Mario Venters 6'0 220 4.65- second offensive play for Snyder he hit the fullback at the 3 yd line as soon as he took the hand off causing a fumble and recovery for the 2nd score and a 10-0 lead.

DE- Braylon Johnson 6'2 235 4.6- transfer from Gilmer(Big Sandy) where he starred on a stout Defense that lost in the 1A state finals. Brother of super soph. running back from Gilmer Justin Johnson (6-1 190 4.5). Braylon lived with one parent and Justin w/ the other.

MLB- (strong side in a 3-4)Domonique Buchanon- 6'1 240 lbs 4.6(junior) played on average of 25-30 plays a game last year as a soph. He is the hardest hitter on the team with a nose for the ball.

Whew!! That's some big ole' boys. I'm sure Gilmer will be one of the teams to beat again this coming season

... and they all run a 4.6, wait, one runs a 4.5... yeah right!!

If these sizes AND speeds are all accurate, we'll be watching the Gilmer front 4 playing for UT the next year...

thats some big boys with speed, why not just put one in the backfield, that size and speed, no one would be able to take them down

I was thinking the same thing. Now that we're getting closer to the season we're going to start hearing about all kinds of teams whose entire backfield runs 4.4's and whose o-linemen (every single one of them) weigh 350 and run in the 4.7-4.8 range.

well all of silsbee's o-line and d-line weigh 400 and all of them run 4'2's!!! Beat that! :D
