Pool Winners were Cinco Ranch, Wharton, Strake Jesuit and Katy Taylor.

Cinco Ranch def. Wharton 34-32 and Katy Taylor def. Strake Jesuit, so Cinco and Taylor qualified for state.

Wharon defeated Cy Creek (state qualifier) 41-14, Mayde Creek 32-28 and then lost to FB Kempner 27-22. We missed out on state but we really started to to play well and that is what matters the most!!

oh i dont know him, i was thinkin it might be Jamial because thats who quarterbacked against us my freshman year, is this #3 guy a transfer or what?

Dang, that area has so much talent. From Cuero up to Bay City/Wharton and on into the Southern tip of Houston they're just loaded. Just take a look at Wharton. That 3A school (with an enrollment of 688 kids) handled that Cy Creek team squad that had 3000 kids to choose from

Jamial was on the varsity all last year (Broke school record for rec in a season and tied for rec TDs in a season). Ansley QBed the JV for 3 games before he moved to the varsity. He led the JV to a 2-0-1 record. Scored 121 points and threw for over 500 yards.

yeah i knew Jamial was on varsity, very good receiver, just figured since he has had a year of varsity experience he would move to the QB position, but it sounds like this Ansley guy will be just fine
