If you start off with one penny, and double your amount every day, how many days will it take for you to have a million dollars?

If it is a whole number that you want then I will go with 27, because at some point in the 27th day you will hit $ 1 million, and by the 28th day you are well over that amount so 27days is my final answer.:D

TAMUGRAD, I think you're looking at when he earns $1 million in one day... if you add the combined totals up he earns it a day earlier.

We were flipping channels last night and The SuperMillionaire was on GameShow Network, and that was a $500,000 question. Talk about compounding interest quickly lol..... it just surprised us how quickly it added up..

its 27 because you start off with one penny, but have to add two decimal places for the dollar value.
