Alaniz pitched better in the 5th, even though he's thrown close to 90 pitches...need some baserunners now and score a few runs...got Boone warming up in the bullpen...

Take 'em any way we can get 'em!

Adrian did a good job of regrouping after that 4th inning.

Hope J. Brent can close it out!

i hope so....Oregon State for whatever reason decided to pitch their number 2 guy against number 1 Tulane today.....So they wil have their best pitcher to throw on monday...If we hit like we did today we will lose again...

I'm pretty confident that the Bears will have a successful game. For what it's worth and I'm sure that I can speak for most folks on here, when ever our favorite team isn't playing each other...we all generally pull for the rest of the Big XII teams. As for myself, I've always supported Baylor...until they meet up with the Horns.

Baylor has done the Big XII proud this year in athletics! Both men's and women's leagues. It however was unfortunate with the basketball team. Who knows, they would have at least had a shot at the Final Four anyhow.

actually now i see that was his 2004 numbers....he is their number 1 pitcher and supposedly teh top prospect for the 2006 draft w/ a 12-1 record and a 2.12 ERA....Bears better get their bats together or its gonna be 2 and Q....

Adrian sucked it up and did what he had to, to give the Horns a win. Pitched a great game. Threw about 120 pitches I think. The heat might have zapped him.

David Maroul (UT 3B) is a stud. Did ya'll see some of the plays he made? Dang! No wonder he was a high draft pick.

It didn't seem like there were a lot of Baylor fans there.

And there were more people watching this game (Texas vs. Baylor - 26,000) than were watching the Nebraska game, which only drew 24,000.

Yes, that was Omar Quintanilla. I recently saw him play for the Midland Rockhounds vs. the CC Hooks. I think Midland is an Oakland affiliate.
