Just wanted to see how many Downlowers camp or RV on a regular basis and where is your favorite place to Camp and why?

My family loves to camp and our favorite place is in the hill country on the Frio river. The kids love the cold water and tubing and so do mom and dad. I've been going their since the late 60's and still enjoy.

I would like to try some places we have not been,so i know that their has to be a few different places to camp in this great state that downlowers have tried.

Lake City, Colorado.....great fishing, 4-wheeling, scenery, lake, shopping for the ladies, rafting a few miles away... all in a quaint little town tucked in the mountains.

any place west of colorada springs along the arkansas river is beautiful.

we go camping at Davis Mountains state park as often as possible. gorgeous and peaceful place. its an 8 hour drive out there, but worth it.
