Does DCTF have a coaches poll in it this year?

Mostly the coach's poll is a 'tad' simular to DCTF's...

I believe the coach's poll is actually IN DCTF under 'what the coaches think'...

It's usually just the 'top 5', maybe 10... it's in the same box as the DCTF poll, I believe this past year's was titled 'Coaches Pick Gainesville to Repeat' or something... what a great job that did ha... jk

Maybe they decided the coaches made stupid picks like mentioning Gilmer, Abilene Wylie, Cuero, Liberty Hill and Snyder.

I doubt that coaches went the Bridgeport, Devine, Caldwell, Perryton route.

which 4 teams won the championship the last 2 years?? gainesville, atlanta, a. wylie and gilmer. look at where they were ranked before the season that they won it all. the polls mean nothing at all.

I do not believe Aledo was ranked in '98, I know for a fact they were not in the top 20...

Cuero was #13 that year, Aledo beat Cuero in D1 state championship...

but if I am not mistaken, Newton and Dangerfield were ranked very high that year and they were in the D2 game...

It's hit or miss with rankings, Dave feels this way, Dave feels that way... it's his money and we buy it every year so he knows what he's doing I guess...

maybe your right that dave knows what he's doing. it's unfortunate that dave has nothing to do with the magazine anymore. i'm sure he could bring back some of the credibility it's been losing.
