Williams, who probably faces a suspension for previous positive marijuana tests, will submit to the league's program, Leigh Steinberg said Friday, the newspaper reported.

"He's coming (to south Florida) soon," Steinberg said, the newspaper reported. "He wants to start his workout program down there. Things are still on track for his return — and they'll stay on track."

Dolphins coach Nick Saban said Friday he didn't know Williams' status.

The team and Steinberg haven't discussed any salary for Williams or the $8.6 million signing bonus he still owes the team, the newspaper reported.

"We have to get him there, into the drug program and into that state first," Steinberg said, the Post reported. "There's obviously a lot of complexities to deal with, but we're going to take this step by step. We're not even close to that step yet."

The Dolphins plan to help Williams if they can, Saban said.

"If it is his decision to come to South Florida, we'll support him in that regard," Saban said.
