Congratulations to Woodville and Coach Neil Hennigan. Hennigan and his team were on a mission to win the state championship in memory of his father, Gary Hennigan, who died last year from cancer. Gary was the driving force that caused the Woodville baseball facilities to be built. This is a momentous occasion for son Neil to finally win what his father helped work for since way back in the early sixties, a state championship in baseball.

Way to go Woodville guys!

I am so proud of the Woodville baseball team. They did it the right way--they played the best that would play them within driving distance and did not worry about the win/loss record. Sometimes that does not work out but more often than not it helps a team see better pitching and subsequently lets a team get use to playing against premium players. I was glad to see them bring home the bacon!
