I dont' know much about most of these teams, but I do know one thing.. Wimberley was one of if not the toughest team we played (judging from what the players said, not my football expertise lol) but I do agree with putting Palestine up there.....

Out of your list OC, I would eliminate 3 of your teams off the list, Bellville, Lindale, and Huffman-Hargrave. I would keep Wimberley, Tatum and Cameron. The other 5 I agree with you on.

I agree 44INAROW, Wimberley may be even better this year. They're gonna be tough.

OC if you want to eliminate Hutch you don't know football...they are loaded this year....made it to the regional semis last year and are bringing back the house..

How many starters does the Hutch have coming back on O and D? I didn't realize they were that stacked.

sorry about that. My bad How is huffman overated?" ALWAYS HAS BEEN AND ALWAYS WILL BE"? THATS RICH. They have some very good coaches and some good kids over the last three years. Will have a pretty good team this year. The team better look out for is Tatum. LOADED

Bridgeport is overrated. 3-7? Come on now. Collin Jones isnt enuff for this to make alot of noise. Is playoffs a possibility? Yes in there weak district but I dont think they'll go deep.

I saw Palestine play last year against Cuero and Wimberly play last year against Cuero... I believe Wimberly could be bringing more back, and Wimberly worries me more than Palestine, so I wouldn't put them on and boot Wimberly... Your other ones, however, I do not know about, so I'll not argue with them...

Also, to anyone who saw Wimberly before the playoffs, whipe that memory of them from your heads...

I saw Wimberly play Iowa Park in Brownwood this year, I thought they both looked pretty horrible...

The next week Wimberly lost to La Vernia, it wasn't a blow-out but it was a sure win for La Vernia...

Then when Wimberly played LA Vernia in the first round, they beat LV 44-6 or something to that effect... When I saw them against Cuero, they looked like a totally different team, 100% better...

LOL... if we had to go back and just replay last year, then yeah... we are overrated.

BUT...

We are bringing back a whole wad of players and they are looking sharp. I CANNOT WAIT to see the Bulls with pads on.

;) Keep spreading the word...

Wait, wait, wait...

So if they do not have a school, yet still have a football team, they can prolly recruit, right?

Hutch is smart ha...

Looks like they may know what they're doin' up there afterall...

I say if they have a school they will have athletics. It's so close to Dallas a business will step up I can think of a couple of reasons 1. They can write that money off for tax purposes (i very well could be wrong about that) but #2 is for sure it will make the business look good

#4 may be a bit high for Hutch, I think I'd have them at 8 or 9....but if you think Hutch shouldnt be in the top 20 then you need to get a clue.....OC prolly did it for shock value knowing him....at least I hope so

And I believe Sealy's '94 and '95 state championships were as a Region 3 team (because '95 was our only semi-finals loss to a Region 3 team) and the '96 and '97 championships were won as a Region 4 team...

The reason Region 3 teams don't win is because of the top-to-bottom balance of it. Teams destroy each other in the play-off and other regions get it just a little bit easier and a little bit can go a long way in that final game. Since the play-offs went two divisions there have been 7 Region 3 teams in the finals. Region 2 had had nine teams but, it can be said that region two has really good teams at the top ie: Everman, Gilmer,Forney and ect.
