The Corpus Christi media acts like they have all of that pride, but other than writing about the teams, they do not go a step further...

Good luck, Calallen, and I wish that we could play you guys again, that was a playoff atmosphere and a half for a week 1 game...

CATDOG - I went to callertimes.com and this is what I saw.. Game is going to start late due to extra innings on earlier games.......... they will have updates on the website it said also...... might check it out........

Because of an extra inning Class A semifinal game earlier in the day, the first Class 4A state semifinal baseball game beyween Waco Midway and Montgomery will not start until 5 p.m. - an hour after their original start time. That means the second semifinal, featuring Calallen against Wichita Falls Rider, will start later than the original 7 p.m. start time.

Calallen finally won 12-2 and face Waco Midway in the final at 6:00 pm today. The morning paper has a good article on Calallen's victory. The winning pitcher hit a grand slam to ice the game away. The article also said the Wildcats have a hitter that is currently at something like .867 for the season. That's almost unbelievable. Perhaps I read it wrong?
