The Pirates picked up two quick outs by Charlie Finch and Howell Finch. Barnett gets on base after being hit by a ball. He then stole second base. After one pitch to Cunningham, Barnett then steals third base. Cunningham walks to first. Langston comes in to run for Cunningham. Madison hits a high chopper to third and makes it safely. Barnett scores to give Cooper the lead 1-0. Stults hits a ground ball back to the pitcher to retire the side.
