Any 3A players likely to be drafted?

To follow the draft, go to mlb.com (http://www.mlb.com) and click on DraftCaster.

They may draft UT's Adrian Alaniz (former Sinton Pirate) this year.

I looked on the mlb website and saw Yoakum's Riley Boening and Bellville's Lucas Luetge under draft prospects.

It remains to be seen whether or not they will be willing to offer enough to keep him from going to Texas.

You really think money is going to be the deciding factor for Roger's kid?

I personally thought at first it was a horrible pick because I cant imagine him not going to college considering how big a Longhorn fan his father appears to be. At the same time, I cant imagine the Astros picking him unless his father told them he would sign. It definitely was a pick that caught me off guard.

Before the draft Roger said he hoped whatever team drafted Koby would make it (college or pro) a real easy decision one way or another. I'm not sure how many other ways a team can influence a draftee besides doing so with money. Since it was Houston that drafted him, I'm sure the decision will be given more thought. After hearing Roger tonight it sounded as if it would have been just about any other team that had drafted Koby in this slot that the decision would have been real easy to go to Texas. Now we'll have to wait and see.

Yup I believe athletes could be pedigree'd, Clint Renfro is a good example of athleticism in the gene pool..

Bellville's Lucas Luetge was drafted by the Chicago White Sox in the 31st round. He was number 935. I do think that him and the softball pitcher are cousins.

Probably because he's not from Texas and wasn't drafted by a Texas team. In other words, nobody cares!

Have you ever seen him play? How do you know he's the best player in the nation? Was Steve Emtman the best player in the nation? What about "Never Nervous" Pervis (Ellison)? Kent Benson? Brien Taylor? Ki-Jana Carter?
