Newton vs. Giddings

Not at this time- but I will take Newton by 3 touchdowns. I feel Newton had two teams that can crowd them for state- Sealy which the have beaten and LaGrange in two weeks. The winner of the LaGrange/ Newton game will of course take State.

Don't be so quick to make your prediction...three touchdowns??.....only one team has scored three touchdowns on Giddings, and that was Elgin. The reason they scored three touchdowns was our j.v. was playing cuz we were whoopin' them. at any rate, Newton/Giddings will be a great game, whoever takes it, it will be close. go buffs!

Their Defense gives them a chance to win every week.
I beleive I stated a few weeks earlier that Chris Daniels #1 is one of the best receiver in 3A ball. You can record me on that.

I don't know a lot about both teams but I gotta believe that Giddings is going to take this one from what I've heard. They have been underated all year and no one has shown them much respect. Newton is tough though too. But in the end of this close game, I am going to say Giddings 14-10.
I hope for safe play for both teams. Let's all hope for no injuries and a fair game. I hope to see you all there.

Old Cardinal, please do not put all the eggs in the region 3 and 4 basket. There are a couple of pretty good teams in Region 2 left. Just because Forney went D1 this year doesn't eliminate all competition from that region. Should be fun to watch the rest of the way.

Giddings has a great defense, but you have to give credit to the best running game in 3A. Newton WILL score their points. The question is, will Giddings be able to keep up with Newton's points, because Newton WILL score fast.
