Today Baylor senior Benedikt Dorsch finished his highly decorated carrer at Baylor earning the highest award possible for a NCAA tennis player, he won the NCAA Singles Tennis Title....He defeated University of San Diego's Pierrik Ysern, 6-2, 7-6 (6)....Dorsch defeated everyone in this years tournament except for his opponent in the final 4 in 2 sets....also this is the second straight year that a Baylor men's player has won the national singles title, last year Baylor's 2nd seeded player won the title...This is the 4th national championship for a baylor player or team this year, Women's Basketball, Men's Team Indoor Tennis (finished 2nd in outdoor loosing in the national title game), Women's NCAA Singles Tennis Title, and Men's NCAA Singles Tennis Title

Now all you guys need to do is fix the football team to where they can compete for Big 12 championships year in and year out and you guys would have a powerful athletic program that would catch the attention of EVERYONE in the Nation.

(this wasn't a knock on Baylor....just telling the truth.)

yah....i wish we could transfer some of our success to football, however it will take a while to build in a program there in teh big 12....but i wont be shocked if men's basketball really picks it up here in the next couple seasons if the recruiting classes live up to their rankings....if men's basketball starts winning then people would pay more attention because that is almost as big as football and to some parts of the nation bigger....im just happy that we seem to be dominating the spring sports right now....
