Brandon Belt ripped a deep drive to score Tanner Hines from first and give the Lufkin Hudson Hornets a 7-6 playoff victory over Lorena in eight innings Friday night. Hudson, which lost to Lorena in the Region III-3A playoffs each of the last two years, rallied from a 6-4 deficit heading into the bottom of the seventh. Belt was 4-for-5 at the plate and scored two runs.
