It always trips me out to see people that don't understand what Friday and Saturday nights in Texas are really all about. They're from Utay for crying out loud! They definitely gotta lot to learn. Thanks for the laughs man.

you think this statement coming from the crappy mormon state of utah hurts us. nah, it made me laugh.

i saw Aggies showing the utes fans around campus teaching them our traditions and we had to hold their jaws up.

everyone is clueless when they come to their first Fightin' Texas Aggie game, only one school's fans are used to our "nonsense", and that is t.u.

heck, we've got the most passionate fans in the world, you think we just sit back and pout like the t-sips (and for that matter mustangs, horned frogs, bears, and red raiders) during our down years. no we stand, for our Aggies and even our country like against oklahoma state in 2001.

I think he is in the forrest and recognized the tree. :D (Sorry, but you stepped into this one--I could not help myself)FYI--OSU is considered a 6A school in Oklahoma

No doubt ATM is a cult, but they show great pride in Texas and are usually conservative. Have to love'em. This is coming from a Texas Longhorn fan.

If memory serves me correctly, isn't Utah the state where the guy abducted the Smart girl and he and his two "wives" walked the streets for months wearing white robes and the residents didn't consider them "strange"?

Barney Rubble, if by "cult" you mean everyone doing the same things and believing the same things, then I guess texas fans are considered a cult in that most of them act like ***holes and believe they are better than everyone. Have fun getting beat by Arkansas tomorrow.

..You call that a "Cult"???...Heck, the YaYa's ceremonies would make all that seem like a day at the nursing home!! They only wish they had our powers!! :D

(But you'll have to excuse me, I laughed so hard reading this...I .....well, I'll be right back...)

OK, to tell the truth, yes, this does go on, I've seen it and I don't know what to tell you ...maybe the mothership will return soon!!!

I'm an Aggie, but I'll be pulling for UT. Can't stand anything or anyone getting over on anything Texas. That Texas Shootout game still stands as my all time favorites.

You're right. It would be nice for both teams to be on top when they come to aggieland. too lopsided every year.

KL3, what is your problem. I was taking up for the Ags not putting them down. Sorry you took it the wrong way. Good luck against McMurry or whatever crackerjack school A&M plays this week. Hopefully, y'all can sell out the stadium in your next game since y'all haven't accomplished that this year. Perhaps if y'all had a long home winning streak like THE university of Texas did y'all would get more support at home. LOL. Just kidding. In all seriousness, I always defend A&M to out of staters, but reserve the right to blast them to in-staters like yourself.

KL3
09-12-2003, 02:55 PM
My bad, I guess I just don't see how you are "taking up for the Aggies" when you call us a cult. Speaking of selling out, did you know A&M holds the record for largest crowd to ever see a sporting event in Texas? Do you also know that we hold the record for longest home winning streak for any Texas school? Oh, and by the way, we play #9 Virginia Tech next week, and #11 Pittsburgh the week after. Who do yall play next? Rice? I wouldn't comment on schedules. I know many Aggies want texas to win when they aren't playing us, but I don't. I want them to lose every single athletic event they are playing in.

I bet when you were playing as a child (apparently not so long ago) and you didn't get your way, I bet you gathered up your toys and went home...... :p

The Aggies are a slight favorite to win their game tonight against Open.

Don't underestimate Open, Aggies. Although it wasn't very well reported at the time, the Longhorns obviously lost to them last week and today's debacle occurred as a result of them not being able to recover from the physically-, mentally- and emotionally-draining ordeal of having to play Open right before the Arkansas game.

Practice the same thing everyweek you'd think they would get it down after 2 or 3 times.

yeah, ive always wondered why teams have more than 3 practices per year. i mean, practice makes perfect is a saying that hasnt proved to be true at all. everman practiced like once every other week and it seemed to work for them.
