MY BAD "WHO IS GONNA WIN AND WHAT DISTRICT"

Either Jasper or Newton in 20-3A. Newton may have the edge based on experience and the home game with Jasper on 10/15, but I'll follow my heart and go with the Dogs. :D

18-3A, I got it picked like this; Marlin, Rockdale, Cameron, Caldwell, Lorena, Troy.

I pick the Gilmer Buckeyes to win 11-3A barring major injuries. Also pick Daingerfield to win 12-3A with Atlanta sharply on their heals, so they better not slip.

Fairfield should win district 19, but look for a strong push from a hungry Crockett team who will win 2nd, and Mexia to be a strong 3rd place team from a very solid district.

silly Tiger!
A betting man may go w/ Marlin but since I don't gamble:
Cameron, Marlin, Caldwell, Rockdale, Lorena, Troy

Bridge City is picked to win 21-3a. But, being in a rebuilding year, it's a toss up. wink

Marlin will destroy Cameron. You better hope you can beat Caldwell.

Yea ESPN I'm thinkin Caldwell will end up like last year in district.

Burnet, Marlin was supposed to do the same thing to them last year as was Ennis to Marlin and look what happened. I think you should worry w/ them before we will have to.

Wills Point should win their District but, Van may give them a battle.
It is the last game of district and they have to come to Wills Point... "Go Tigers"

Bellville22

Bellville should win District 23 provided they can survive a trip to the "Snakepit" in Navasota. If Navasota can pull the mild upset, then they can have a shot if they can win at Sealy, against a Tiger team looking for revenge.

Bellville, Navasota, and Sealy could all very realistically end up at 4-1 with the way the schedule is setup. But I'm looking for my Bulls to once again go 5-0 and keep the Distict Crown.

Port Isabel should win District 32-3A. Never know what can happen on any given Friday night though.

GO TARPONS!!!

I would say even a major injury or two wouldn't stop the Gilmer juggernaut this season. Have you heard of this kid from Tatum who is now with Gilmer named Chris Thomas? From what I'm hearing, he could step in for Hines and we wouldn't miss a beat. Well, that's not fair to Andrew. He's irreplaceable in a sense, but it sounds as if we do have a capable backup. And he's only a junior.

I see Atlanta winning 12-3A, but that's mostly because I'm biased against Daingerfield. I should want Daingerfield to win so that we won't have to face them in bi-district again. I really have no idea about 12-3A other than that I'm glad we're not in it.

if i was a yoeman i would even talk on this board. billy pitman has carried the yoe for the last two yrs. without him you have no chance aganist caldwell and surely not marlin.

1. marlin
2.caldwell
3.cameron.

ps i have nothing aganist the yoe, i just think that without pitman it will be a rebuilding year

first of youngster, Marlin was full of jrs last year and they had success. Even if Cameron does have what would be an off year, they should still have a solid season. Pittman was good yes but the fact that he could be depended on was the reason for his utilization. Trust me, there are alot of guys that are going to suprise this year who will be back in '04 as well. But...if you want to underestimate the Yoemen, be my guest.
As for "not even being on this board" I think I've got the same right as you do. I played my years and have earned the right to post as I please.

see thats where youre wrong(youngster ha) . i said that the yoeman were a alright team. what i was trying to say is that before you start talking about beating a solid team you should look and realize what you got. after cameron senior class graduated it seems like the yoe was left with young players right or wrong. im saying that it will be hard for the yoe to rebuild a offensive for the last four years that depended on how billy ran or threw the ball. and as for when i said that u should not talk on this board i was saying that you shouldt be talking about beating teams when you havent played a game yet after losing players to graduation

the tigers are back

Well it's getting close to kick - off time and guess what we all want to go undefeated. I really pick the sealy tigers to take dist 23 3a, but hey bull don't worry about the rattlers they will be on the pit when we beat them. So that leaves just the bulls and the tigers. I sure i'm right on this one ,but it will be a differnt game when we meet you'll this time. Hey bull someone wrote bellville on our football field well i hope this don't be a bloody brawl this year between us. eek!

So let me get this straight. If you are an established team like Marlin, you can ASSURE us all that you are going to go 16-0 but if you have some questions on your team (like most teams in the NATION) you can't predict a win? Give me a break son. Do you even or have you even ever played in the game? If so you should know that you don't go into a game "hoping" for a win. You should expect it.
