It will be shown from 4 A.M. to 5. A.M. on Tuesday morning June 14 on TCM. It was made in 1920 and is a great silent movie. It deals with the automobile when it was still a new invention especially in the West along the border with Mexico where it takes place and horses were still widely used in travel. This is a movie in which the lady is kidnapped by bandits from Mexico and our hero goes out on pursuit to rescue her in an automobile. It is incredible especially considering the time it was made. The car drives over hills and rocks and cactus and thorns and doesn't get a flat because they tires are solid rubber with no air (no flats but a rough ride!). I know it is early in the morning but you could have your recorders ready to watch it and it isn't very long and you will be delighted you did. And as the conclusion of the movie says and that applies today that there is always something new coming. Enjoy!

if it was made in 1920, then it is something old by now
