Who off the team that you follow would you consider for the TEXAS All Star game?
On our team at BC, I would say that Hunter "Homerun" Hays is a prime candidate. An All Stater as a Sophomore and a solid team member.
The other is a multi-skilled player Darryl Stevens. In the last game against Orangefield he pitched a no-hitter, hit a Grand Slam, next up he hit a solo HR and followed that with a triple.
These two Seniors have signed on to play for McNeese in Lake Charles. They could have gone anywhere but chose to play ball in the same program.
If either are chosen there is a good chance that they can repeat getting the Most Valuable Player Award for the All-Star game just like Jamie Knight of BC did two years ago. Ripping a triple on the first pitch of the ball game got everyones attention that Jamie had come to play a good ballgame.
