LA GRANGE 8 BRIDGE CITY 0 REGIONAL SEMI- FINAL GAME 2
The La Grange Lady Leps blanked the #1 Ranked 3A team 8-0 to win the series and advance to the Region III Championship. The Lady Leps didn't get started til the top of the 5th inning scoring one. Liz Schramm hit a lead off solo homerun in the top of the 6th for a 2-0 La Grange lead. LG picked up one more in the 6th then exploded for 5 runs in the top of the 7th to take a commanding 8-0 lead. Kimmy Lee picked up her second win of the series striking out 9 allowing 4 hits and 1 walk. The Lady Leps will now face District 19AAA rival Rockdale for the Region III Championship later this week. It will be the best of a 2 out of 3 series beginning Friday and picking up again on Saturday.

La Grange scored 1 in the 2nd and 1 in the 3rd to take a quick 2-0 lead behind Pitcher, Kimmy Lee. La Grange then scored 2 in the 4th and 6 in the 5th to run rule Bridge City 10-0 at Pearland High School in Game 1 of Region III Semi-final. La Grange had 13 hits. Kimmy Lee got the win striking out 5 in 5 innings, walking none and allowing 2 hits. The series continues tomorrow at Pearland beginning at 5pm.
