Worst Movies

Rocky V (Deeply disappointed in this movie)

Cobb (Tommy Lee Jones as Ty Cobb, enough said.)

That movie where Anthony Perkins was playing a Pro Baseball player (maybe Lou Gehring) and he didn't have a lick of baseball talent to play the role.

Well, just like everything else that's my own personal opinion. I found it very predictable and stereotypical. That's just IMHO!!!!

forgot to add on to your quote ILS1.
The comment about Anthony perkins got me thinking. I believe he played Jimmy Pearsall, who apparently was an absolute fruitcake in late 50s and early 60s. Vaguely remember movie, wasn't very good, but now I'll be thinking about it all day.

thanks, ILS1

It was called "Fear Strikes Out". You were right about it being about Jimmy Piersall.

You are right BTX. The 1957 movie was Fear Strikes Out about Piersall who battled mental illness to become a major league baseball star. I never saw the movie though.
Tony Perkins also starred as a college basketball star in the 1960 movie Tall Story and a young Jane Fonda played his girlfriend. Not a bad movie but it has been so long since I saw it.

Those are good movies, Russ. I liked all three, but they're made more for comedy than sports.
