I was surprised how dominating BC was tonight. Kevin A. had 17 Ks and the Cardz left a bunch of folks on base. The score does not indicate just how strong the win was tonight. They meet again Friday in Lufkin for game #2.

Angelle had 19 k's, 3 BB's, and gave up only 1 hit. Palestine had line drive back to Angelle and a ground ball to 1st. That was the only times they touched the ball. They had 4 baserunners and no one got past 2nd.

I know KOGT radio had 19 Ks but several of us counted 17--glad to hear it was officially even better. The team was a little slow getting the hitting going but they made up for it.
