I would have to say Reggie Miller just because his poise and leadership that he has on and off the court. He can motivate and get the job without being all cocky and what not.

Heck, not sure if he ever touched a football in his life, but my football captain would be David Robinson... he's the epitome of 'greatness'... whether it be dunking, shooting the mid-range jumper, being a GREAT leader in the community and showing all of the youngsters how to win with 'class'... he's the man for anyone competing in anything... Whether it be the hardwood or the chess board...
