Is it harder to run the table in NFL football or go winless...

You could just take your foot off the accelerator and go winless. If a team made it their goal, it could easily be accomplished. Running the table means that you not only have the accelerator to the floor the whole time but you also catch quite a few lucky breaks.

True that... but so did the Bears. Twice. And look at all the 14-2 seasons out there. With a 16-game regular season and an extra three to win the Super Bowl (and free agency/parity) it's nowhere near as easy as it was with the 'Fins back in '72.

If an NFL team wanted to, it would be easier for them to lose 16 games to a bad 3A high school team than to win even one game. A better question might be, "Which is more likely?" I don't know, so I didn't vote.
