How was the game and your trip to Austin?

I don't know about the trip but the day she was there Texas lost. But they still won 2 out of 3 games.

It was very hard to see Adrian lose! :( He didn't look comfortable and the Texas bats weren't helping him! {Big sigh} The trip was pleasant enough. :) I was very tired though after my whirlwind trip to Ft. Worth the weekend before. :D It was nice to see him pitch again...I just wish they would've won the game, but at least UT won the series!

Next up - a HOOKS game. :D

Sorry about the loss, but it is still fun to go and watch them play.

After I posted, I found the following on the UT website:

Texas starter Adrian Alaniz (Sinton, Texas) shouldered the loss despite a five-inning, five-strikeout effort.

Sounds like he still had a good game!

I will have to start looking at the Hooks schedule!:)

He started off great! Struck out the first 4 batters he faced. He had a rough 2nd inning. Read play-by-play (http://www.texassports.com/doc_lib/ba_043005.htm#GAME.PLY) to see how it went down. :) It just seemed that after that he wasn't throwing strikes on his first pitch and couldn't get back into a groove. Just my 2 cents! :)

Yep, looks like the 2nd and 8th innings were big ones for Missouri.

That play by play and stat recap is pretty neat!
