You have to mention that Region 4 times were against VERY VERY stong winds....Thats why no one broke the 11 second mark in the hundred.

I don't have to mention that, but I am aware of that. I thought about making a disclaimer that conditions varied from region to region, but I assumed everyone would be aware of that without me having to tell them.

Hey G84 - according to some people, the times don't matter anyway until they get to State :D :D :D

But the fastest times at regionals gets the best lanes. Thats why I made my notes....O yeah and i for get Holmes Fan said that. I forgot Brandon DIDN'T run a 10.19(100) or a 21.04 (200)....It only counts at state!

Because he wanted to be a team plyer and run the 2 relays(4X100m and 4X200m)

Does not matter the time, they draw for lanes at State. You could have the slowest time, and luck out and get lane 4 or 3 or 5. Going to be some great running!!!! Good luck to all. By the way, Cuero would have made it in all relays(maybe), if they had not dropped the stick in the 1600m relay prelims.

Sweetwater's Michael Williams is on the same boat, he could easily be running at state in the 100, 200, and 400, but hes on all the relays instead, heard he'd getting a full ride to run at Baylor...but thats a "heard" situation, i dont know for sure if its 100% true

In 5A Region I I saw where some kid from Arlington High threw the discus right at or a little over 190'. Now that's throwing the dish!

3 running events is the limit, so I guess the UIL thinks it's a lot!

Yeah, it's too bad they couldn't knock off .06! It would have been nice to have all the relays running at state!
