Dayton the winner of 19 4A played Bridge City winner of 24 3A. It was a good game with BC winning it 1-0. That was a game they really wanted to win-- Dayton had edged the 1-0 in a 4 inning scrimmage at Ford Park during the giant preseason warm up with a host of teams scrimmaging each other. Dayton has beaten a number of the 4A rated teams and will meet Klien Oaks in their first playoff game. BC plays Lufkin Central in postseason bracket game next.
