Actually, we prefer pictures that do not show numbers or faces. Im sure you can figure out why. But, those are sometimes difficult to find. So, we go with the closest we can find.

What if the number that is shown belongs to a player that will be returning next season, would that be ok then?

Status of the player makes no difference. We'd rather not have number, and especially faces, shown. But, we know that pics that show neither are difficult to come by. So, we take what we can get. But, please, try to use discretion.
