This should be a good game. Silsbee's backs are to the wall as far as the district championship is concerned so they will be playing lights out ball. Jasper will have to bring its "A" game.

Who won the game?

I just found this on another site. It appears Jasper had already won the district going into this game.

Jasper 9-0 (District Champs)
Silsbee 7-2 (17-6)
Kirbyville 6-3
Buna 3-6
Shepherd 2-7
Coldspring 0-9

If Silsbee loses and K-Ville wins, there will be a playoff for the # 2 Spot in the district on Friday.

Is it now 3 boys' district champions for Jasper vs. 2 for Silsbee? Silsbee won in football and basketball and Jasper won in golf, track, and baseball. Am I overlooking any other sports?

But, if you throw in the girls sports, Silsbee blows Jasper away this year in overall district championships. Girls won district in vollyball, basketball, track, and golf. Also, they are runner's up in tennis. Overall, Silsbee had 6 teams qualify for the playoffs in team sports and have numerous individuals qualify for regionals in track, golf and tennis, boys and girls.
