I think your right. I kept hearing all the draft "experts" say he wouldnt go til the 6th round or so if he got picked at all, but I knew someone was gonna grab him early. There is too much potential both good and bad.

You are right there inj! Still it is worth a third round pick isn't it? If it goes bad you can always cut him and the most you would probably lose would be the third round pick you had because the salary cap shouldn't be a problem in this case. But I hope he does well and reaches his potential.

A "steal" no doubt, Phil. Just another tragic example of a poor innocent victim of the capitalist system that corrupts such fine young athletes with it's lure of filthy lucre. This young man is just as misunderstood as that other unfortunate victim of the system, Ricky Williams.

anyone can be successful in the broncos offense if you are a running back. i have a feeling they will regret using their 3rd round pick on him. Its a big risk. I guess its better to make a risky pick in the 3rd round rather then the 1st round though.

He wont make it through training camp. watch

the broncos will make his contract to their advantage. I would think it would be very incentive laden especially at the front end.

I like the pick. Most teams are just trying to find capable starters at this point in the draft... the Broncos took a chance on a potential superstar. He may wind up being a bust, but it was the end of the third round. If he is a bust, at least it wasn't some huge risk.

He won't see any playing time with the Bronco's they have many good running backs on the depth chart.
