The showdown for the District title will take place at 7 pm at the Huffman-Hargraves SB field. That's one of the best games scheduled next week. Splendora and BH are so evenly matched!
Bridge City SB is now #1 on the Texas Girl Softball Coaches Poll. They warmup Saturday playing 4A Crosby at 1pm, in Crosby. Crosby is Coached by the lady that Coached Anahuac last year. Their AD is Kevin Flaneigin a fellow very well liked in Orange County who raised Orangefield to a winning football status. BC has beaten Crosby twice earlier in the year but they were good games. I am not surprised to see Crosby in the 4A playoffs.
BC has a bye and plays the winner of Pollock Central and Kirbyville next in the playoff bracketing.
