Wounded Coach's Condition Upgraded To Fair

Doctors have upgraded from serious to fair condition an East Texas high school coach shot at school earlier this month. Canton High School football coach and athletic director Gary Joe Kinne was critically injured when he was shot April 7 at the school's athletic field house. Kinne remains hospitalized in Tyler. Authorities have said an angry father was responsible for the shooting. Jeffrey Robertson remains jailed in Canton on charges of first degree felony aggravated assault and a firearms charge. If convicted, he could face up to life in prison.
