1- San Francisco 49ers - Aaron Rodgers/California QB
Analysis: They’ll go with a quarterback here and right now Rogers has the edge assuming they don’t trade the deal.
2- Miami Dolphins - Ronnie Brown/Auburn RB
Analysis: He fills a need at one of the most important positions on offense. They would also love to trade down to acquire as many picks as possible since they have so many needs.
3- Cleveland Browns - Alex Smith/Utah QB
Analysis: There is no way new GM Phil Savage will pass up a franchise type of quarterback here.
4- Chicago Bears - Braylon Edwards/Michigan WR
Analysis: Edwards is exactly what they need on offense which is speed and talent.
5- Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Carnell Williams/Auburn RB
Analysis: He’s a better fit for their offense than Benson.
6- Tennessee Titans - Adam Jones/West Virginia CB
Analysis: It’s either him or Rolle but Jones is also an outstanding special teams returner.
7- Minnesota Vikings (Oak) -Mike Williams/USC WR
Analysis: He’ll help replace Randy Moss.
8- Arizona Cardinals -Cedric Benson/Texas RB
Analysis: Their two biggest needs are running back and cornerback. Benson’s too good of a value to pass up.
9- Washington Redskins - Antrel Rolle/Miami-Fl CB
Analysis: Rolle fills a big need with the vacancy left by Fred Smoot.
10- Detroit Lions -Shawne Merriman/Maryland DE
Analysis: He’s a nice fit for their defense opposite veteran end James Hall.
11- Dallas Cowboys - Derrick Johnson/Texas LB
Analysis: With the expected move to a 3-4 scheme Johnson fills a big need.
12- San Diego Chargers (Giants) - Alex Barron/Florida State T
Analysis: He’ll eventually replace veteran tackle Roman Oben.
13- Houston Texans - Troy Williamson/South Carolina WR
Analysis: He fills a big need opposite Andre Johnson.
14- Carolina Panthers - Khalif Barnes/Washington T
Analysis: Great fit for them which will keep Mike Wahle at guard.
15- Kansas City Chiefs - Carlos Rogers/Auburn CB
Analysis: Even if they acquire Patrick Surtain, Rogers should still start opposite him.
16- New Orleans Saints - Thomas Davis/Georgia S
Analysis: They can play him at outside linebacker or at safety.
17- Cincinnati Bengals - Marcus Spears/LSU DL
Analysis: Fills two needs as he can play inside or outside
18- Minnesota Vikings -Justin Tuck/Notre Dame DE
Analysis: They could use another pass rusher opposite Kenechi Udeze.
19- St. Louis Rams -Dan Cody/Oklahoma DE
Analysis: Losing Bryce Fisher hurts and Cody should help fill the pass-rushing void.
20- Dallas Cowboys (Buf) - Brodney Pool/Oklahoma S
Analysis: They badly need a safety next to Roy Williams.
21- Jacksonville Jaguars - David Pollack/Georgia DE
Analysis: He fills a need opposite Reggie Hayward.
22- Baltimore Ravens - Travis Johnson/Florida State DT
Analysis: With the move to a 3-4 defensive scheme, Johnson should be an immediate starter.
23- Seattle Seahawks - Darryl Blackstock/Virginia OLB
Analysis: They have next to no starting talent left so Blackstock should come in and play right away.
24- Green Bay Packers -Demarcus Ware/Troy State OLB
Analysis: They could use an outside pass rusher on the strong side.
25- Denver Broncos - Fabian Washington/Nebraska CB
Analysis: He’ll come in and play right away and compete for a starting job against Lenny Walls.
26- New York Jets - Jammal Brown/Oklahoma T
Analysis: He’ll replace Kareem McKenzie.
27- Atlanta Falcons - Mark Clayton/Oklahoma WR
Analysis: They had one of the worst passing offenses in the NFL last year and he should come right in and help them.
28- San Diego Chargers -Erasmus James/Wisconsin DE
Analysis: They’re looking for defensive end help and he should contribute right away.
29- Indianapolis Colts - Justin Miller/Clemson CB
Analysis: He helps fill a big need in the secondary.
30- Pittsburgh Steelers - Heath Miller/Virginia TE
Analysis: They finally have a young and talented tight end after this selection.
31- Philadelphia Eagles - Shaun Cody/USC DL
Analysis: With veteran DT Corey Simon’s status up in the air, Cody will eventually replace him. Remember, the Eagles are always looking ahead.
32- New England Patriots - Matt Roth/Iowa

Sure would help the Cowboys on defense! Jerry Jones stated that he would draft RB Cedric Benson if he fell to #11. They could also pick up a receiver at #20.

I think they Bears would go for Williams over Edwards. Williams is a more sure handed reciever than Edwards.

Very good but I think Miami should draft the Utah QB no. 2. No matter who is available it has always been said if a good QB is available you pick the QB. Pittsburgh had two promising qbs in the 69 when they decided to draft another qb. They didn't regret it. It was a fellow by the name of Terry Bradshaw.

I found this mock draft on the fox southwest website. Dallas getting DJ is probably unlikely, but they could get Merriman.

Mel Kiper has Mike Williams rated over Edwards, so Chicago could take him with the 4th pick.

If the Cowboys pass up D.J. I will never watch the Cowboys ever again! I doubt that he will be there though
