Yes indeed, nothing better than watchin a Texas High School Football game on friday then waking up saturday morning to catch a college football game. Then the NFL on sunday/monday. Best 4 days ever!

I think it makes the weekend seem longer. You go to work on Friday, but work seems a little shorter. Then, game/supper/arguments/beer... wake up and football all day saturday... Sundays NFL all day... Catch Monday night and later on we get Thursday's too!

Otherwise, Friday is just another weekday...

I agree with you OC. And don't forget that before the games on Fridays you can catch the girls' high school volleyball games then head for the stadium for friday night football! It is almost here!

Just finished re-reading "Friday Night Lights" to really get me in the mood for the season, so I too, am now ready. Might just make it an annual thing around the end of July.

For me, football season is the best. I am in Colorguard/Band and so I am around football on Monday nights with practice, Thrusday nights I help run the concession stand and get to watch either our fish/jv team or the lil middle school kids(which is a trip to watch!) and then we travel to go watch our boys play on friday nights, wake up the next morning and watch my favorite college teams, and the NFL just tops it off for me! I have been a football fan since Before I can remember. My parents would put me in my play pin and I would watch Monday Night Football with them. (how we grow up soo fast lol.) I dont understand how ANYBODY couldnt like football!
