ok so.. as many of you know.. Hornet Mom will soon be grandma.. but she doesnt want to be called grandma.. soo.... heres your chance to "name hornetmom" hehehe... we will be takin suggestions till lil CHS_CG is here.

well callin my momma Kristi.. i get either the "thats not my name to you" look or i get the look that im about to get popped up the back of the head.. so i dont think callin her by her name will work.. Her mom was GiGi to me.. and my dads mom is grandma.. i believe she always has been.. but then again.. my dads mom has many more grandkids besides me.. theres just not that many choices.. (she might have to deal with being called granny or grandma)

I don't have grandkids, but when I do, I want to be called Nanna or Nonnie.

Funny story...my parents and my ex-husbands parents are divorced and remarried...so my kids have LOTS of grandparents.

I was talking about "granny" one day and my oldest (who was 4 at the time) asked me "WHICH" granny I was talking about.

It was my husbands mother and so I just said "daddy's granny"....those kids are now 19, 17, and 15 and they still call her "Daddy's granny"!!

I've got a Grammy and a Grandmommy. I guess they weren't as creative. My mom goes by GranKate (her name's Katy) to my nephews and nieces. A little of the real name with the grand name seems to work.
