Hope you enjoy that "tie" for District until you face the Cardinals LOL...Actually it looks pretty good that BC, WO-S and OF will prevail and reach the playoffs. That would be a clean-sweep for Orange County.
How long has it been since the Mustangs have made the BB playoffs--I can't remember a time that they have been that far?

The Mustangs last made the playoffs in 2002 and lost to Lumberton in the first round. Before that they went as district 20-4A champs in 1995 and beat Jasper in the first round and lost to Brenham in the second round. The pitcher for that 95 team was John Patterson who now pitches for the Washington Nationals.

By the way, WO-S beat LCM today in non-district action 5-2 and then lost the second game 10-6. In the second game they had one bad inning that resulted in 7 runs. The pitching was in short supply due to having district games last night and Tuesday. LCM pitched their #2 in the first game that WO-S won. The Mustangs had 8 hits in each game.

Excuse my forgetfullness, the Mustangs also went to the playoffs in 2001 in which they beat Jasper in the 1st round and lost to Harker Heights in the 2nd round.

Thanks for the information! I think that all three teams will do very well come bracket time. I am a little shocked this year that LC-M is not just smoking 4A like they did last year. They are good but not the dominate team they were last year.
